First of 2 stops on a Toronto speaking tour on Islamophobia, Mental Health and Racism at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus. Joined by Ahmad Habhab, a Canadian citizen of Lebanese background speaking about his experience with the criminal justice system. Organized and sponsored by OPIRG Toronto, Scarborough Campus Student’s Union, and the UTSC Muslim Student Association.

Yusuf was joined by Imam Ibrahim Hindy and Rabia Khedr at the University of Toronto Mississauga campus to talk about mental health, disability rights and the Justice for Soli cause. Organized by the UTM Muslim Student Association and the Afghan Student Association at UTM

One Love Gala- March 3

Yusuf Faqiri, brother of Soleiman Faqiri and advocate for the Justice for Soli campaign accepted the Malcom X Social Justice Award given by the founders of the One Love Gala along with one of our main executive members. Successful stories of ex-inmates were celebrated.
